Education Requirements

• College level education in Engineering Technology or similar experience.

Work Experience Requirement

• 1 to 3 years of experience in electromechanical QA or assembly is an asset. New graduates welcome.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Completing final tests and software installation, including system functional checks.
• Maintaining quality assurance checklists and inventory closeout documentation.
• Recording ISO shipping documentation.
• Wiring, troubleshooting and assembling multicamera vision systems.
• Soldering and hardware debugging.
• Communicating with engineers and management to improve and optimize the manufacturing process.
• Well organized, able to manage a variety of tasks in parallel in a manufacturing environment

Skills

• Handson experience in electrical wiring, cable organization and mechanical assembly is a must.
• Understanding of electrical circuits and schematics.
• Experience soldering PCB components.
• Familiarity with machine shops and power tools.
• Knowledge of Windows computer systems and software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others including other technicians, engineers and management.
• Ability to work with mínimal supervision. Must be a selfstarter.
• Technical writing skills are a must.
• Experience or familiarity with quality control or inventory management is an asset.

• 8 hour shift
