We're currently looking to grow our estimating team
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented construction environment and have strong experience preparing competitive bids for ICI projects, we'd love to hear from you. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating and will work closely alongside our Senior Estimator to support tender submissions and project pricing.

Role Overview
As a Construction Estimator, you will support the estimating department by assisting with the preparation of accurate project cost estimates, bid submissions, and pricing analysis for construction projects. You will work directly with the Senior Estimator, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure estimates are complete, competitive, and aligned with project scope requirements.
While our head office is located in Burlington, estimating work will involve projects located throughout the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for ICI construction projects
- Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope requirements
- Perform quantity take-offs and material/labour pricing analysis
- Request, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Work closely with the Senior Estimator to assemble complete bid packages and tender submissions
- Support project handoff by providing estimating information to project management teams
- Maintain organized documentation of bids, pricing, and estimating records
- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools, templates, and procedures
- Maintain a proactive, safety-first mindset consistent with COR standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant construction estimating experience (ICI preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment under tight deadlines
Assets
- Experience working on COR-certified projects or within COR management systems
- Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam or similar tools)
- Knowledge of Ontario construction industry standards and tendering processes
- Previous experience supporting project managers during pre-construction phases
