Overview of The Role


The Intern, Internal Audit will actively participate and support in the planning and execution of a diverse range of mandates and activities within in the following areas: Operational and IT auditing, Policies and Procedures, Risk Management, and Compliance audits.


How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:

Operations:
Support in Operational audits (note taking on interviews with process owners, preparation of test sheets, analyzing simple and straightforward documents, testing simple controls or steps within the control testing, follow-up on pending documents, compilation of data, support in calculations and report extraction)

Policies:
Assist in updating wording of policies, coordinate feedback and changes from stakeholders.

Risk Management:
Assist in coordinating the requests, performing calculations, updating documentation and presentations.

Information Technology:
Participation in IT audits (note taking, meeting minutes, follow up on pending requests), User Access Review for non-SAP, prepare testing sheets for FY24 interim and roll-forward, update the walkthrough documents

Financial Compliance:

Participation in financial compliance mandates (documentation, sample testing) such as site audits, Corporate Budget process audit, Automated Controls testing.

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:


Education:

_(Field of studies and/or Major)_

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or in a related field (inprogress)
  • Professional designation CPA CA, or equivalent (inprogress)

Skills and experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
  • Critical and analytical skills, and sound judgement
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, experience with SAP is a plus
