ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

McDougall Energy is looking for an experienced
Pricing Manager supporting our
Business Market.

Reporting to the Director, Revenue, the Pricing Manager is responsible for managing pricing and implementing pricing strategies specific to the commercial business sector.


  • Understand the company's various costs (Equipment and Cost to Serve) and Fuel supply sources.
  • Research market related information and provide recommendations on potential areas to charge for service(s).
  • Develop strategies and coordinate with Territory Sales Managers to implement and optimize pricing for all revenue generating opportunities.
  • Support all commercial sales deals to successful completion.
  • Review and approve all new business proposals including pricing, credit terms and capital investments required.
  • Establish, implement, and respond to service level agreements with each market area (Home, Business, other).
  • Set Posted price for all commercial fuel, cardlock and propane products weekly.
  • Work closely with other business lines to determine, manage, and monitor commercial and residential fixed Propane and fuel pricing programs.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor offers and initiatives to ensure competitiveness.

ABOUT YOU:


  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in Business or related field
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience in analyzing sales data; industry experience an asset
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail; able to manage large volumes of data and multitask
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; committed to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain successful crossfunctional working relationships
  • ERP experience an asset
  • Demonstrated awareness and understanding of viewpoints of others to facilitate an appropriate agreement.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion
