Responsibilities
- Operate excavator within both residential and commercial excavations
- Demolish and process garbage
- Grading, trenching and backfilling using equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill fuel as required
- Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance
- Competition of daily timesheets and other documentation
- Required to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Comply with all company health and safety guidelines
- Other duties will be assigned as required
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3 years excavator experience required
- Previous experience in demolition is preferred
- Excellent team player
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work independently and safely follow instructions
- Must be punctual and reliable
Salary:
$34.00-$42.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- operating heavy equipment: 3 years (required)
