Arborist - Tree Climber

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Arrive on time with a professional appearance, positive attitude and eagerness to work.
  • Experience climbing, removing, pruning, thinning and reducing trees and branches with the use of ropes, harnesses and lifts.
  • Safely operates vehicles, chipper, stump grinder, chainsaws and other equipment.
  • Provides maintenance to equipment.
  • Maintain a safe work site, evaluating and controlling hazards to complete each job in the safest way possible.
  • Responsible for reporting daily into our operations team.
  • Ability to provide direction and feedback to other crew members.
  • Able to take direction and feedback from management.
  • Site clean up, including chipping, raking, blowing of debris etc.

Requirements:


  • 2+ years experience climbing
  • Valid G license required with a clean Driver's Abstract
  • ISA Certification or Ontario Licenced Arborist Certificate is an asset.
  • Expert knowledge of tree care and safe operations of equipment
  • Reliable, punctual and a positive attitude with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Salary:
$28.00-$32.00 per hour
