Beauty Incubator Recruitment are currently looking for an exceptional Spa Manager for new and upcoming spa in downtown Toronto.


As the Spa Manager, you will play an essential role in strengthening visibility of the spa, the brands they represent and treatments they offer with the local community.

This role is vital for ensuring exceptional customer experience and productivity while overseeing the operation of the retail boutique and spa.


Strategic Planning:


  • Achieve retail and spa sales plans
  • Work with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans for growth and development.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new business opportunities.
  • Identify, recruit, and nourish relationships with brand partners and the surrounding community to drive awareness, generate excitement, and increase foot traffic to stores.

Operational Management:


  • Oversee the daytoday operations, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for clients.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation within the retail store and spa facility.
  • Develop, implement and maintain standard operating procedures, policies and procedures to optimize workflow and enhance the client experience.

Team Leadership:


  • Lead and motivate a team of professionals, including assistant manager, keyholders, estheticians, makeup artists, retail staff and front desk.
  • Forecast staffing needs and build staff schedules accordingly.
  • Plan and execute regular training sessions to ensure that staff members are proficient in all brands, treatments, operating procedures and are experts in their role.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and employee satisfaction.

Customer Service:


  • Consistently model exceptional customer service and ensure that clients receive an outstanding and personalized experience throughout their visit.
  • Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Implement strategies to build and maintain strong client relationships, encouraging repeat business and positive wordofmouth.
  • Develop a process to efficiently and consistently engage with the local community.

Financial Management:


  • Develop and manage both the budget, including revenue and expense forecasting.
  • Suggest and implement promotions to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor financial performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed.

Marketing and Sales:


  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Drive retail sales through effective merchandising, promotions and product knowledge.
  • Explore opportunities for partnerships and collaborations to enhance the visibility and reputation.
  • Work with vendor partners and the marketing team to plan and execute events.

Experience:


  • 35 years management experience in a retail and or spa environment.
  • High energy, reliable, & professional
  • Excellent communication skills, time management, organization skills, proactive, collaborative, team player.
  • Strong background in skincare/makeup/aesthetics
  • Ability to work with multiple teams to deliver responsibilities within required deadlines.
  • Visionary sense of beauty and awareness of current trends

  • Highly customer focused with a solution driven mindset
  • Selfstarter with a down to earth and flexible work style
  • Collaborative while being able to work independently to move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Highly organized with proven project management skills
