    As part of a team, provides preventive and corrective maintenance, as detailed in the quality and maintenance documents, to achieve required availability and reliability on flight training devices in terms of the reported metrics (e.g. down time, lost time, etc).

  • Perform Elementary, Servicing and Maintenance duties in support of the CCH Flight Simulator
  • Monitors all training devices and ensures the resolution of system actual and potential problems
  • Confers with technical experts and colleagues to formulate solutions
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex problems spanning a wide range of technologies, including, but not limited to: computer systems, visual systems, Hydraulic motion system, and avionics systems
  • Available to work shifts and weekends as required
  • Job Qualifications

  • Technical college diploma in electronics or aviation or 4 years of related experience
  • Customer-centric with experience and success providing customer service
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and be a dynamic team player
  • Strong knowledge of English, read, written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of aircraft terminology or simulation devices
  • Ability to interpret schematics and other technical documents pertaining to simulators and aviation
  • Must have superior troubleshooting skills and in-depth knowledge of the use of electronic testing equipment and advanced software diagnostic utilities
  • Physically able to perform manual labour tasks
  • Be able to hold a Canadian Security Clearance & Controlled Goods Clearance
  • Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit ​
  • Assets: experience on CC-H Aircraft or training devices, knowledge of simulation
