As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated Gas Technician 3 & 2 Instructor to join our team.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans and course materials for Gas Technician 3 & 2 programs, ensuring they align with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct engaging classroom lectures, practical demonstrations, and handson training sessions for students.
  • Guide students in laboratory settings, providing supervision and assistance during practical exercises.
  • Evaluate student performance through examinations, projects, and practical assessments.
  • Offer constructive feedback and individualized support to students, identifying areas for improvement and encouraging professional growth.
  • Stay uptodate with industry developments and changes in gas technology to ensure curriculum relevance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance program effectiveness and student success.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and curriculum reviews.

Requirements:


  • Gas Technician 1 or Gas Technician 2 license (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience as a Gas Technician (required).
  • Proficient in CSS B149.
1:20 natural gas and propane installation code.

  • Teaching experience or proven ability to effectively impart knowledge to others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students effectively.
  • Ability to create and deliver wellstructured lesson plans and training materials.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and a commitment to safety in all aspects of gas work.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed in their careers.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 313A or 313D Air Conditioning & Refrigeration License
  • Oil Burner Technician II license would be considered an asset
  • Experience in curriculum development and instructional design
  • Knowledge of educational technology and elearning platforms

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 35-40 per week


Salary:
$70,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
