These roles will have you joining either our Private Sector Land Development Group or Public Infrastructure Group.
With experience and mentoring, candidates will work on drawings from conceptual stage and progress them through the design process working collaboratively with our engineers and senior technicians.

This position will involve carrying out the following tasks, and includes working with a team of engineers, CETs, EITs, and other technical professionals, to achieve this:Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to design and produce functional, preliminary, and detailed design drawings for a wide variety of roads, sewer and watermain and land development projects;
Preparation of detailed engineering drawings for private & municipal projects, including plan, profile, and section drawings;
Proactively advance design techniques and procedures to support designers, project managers and technicians;
Proactively advancing design and modeling techniques to support designers, project managers and technicians;
Coordination of drawing filing;
Occasional on-site work as required; Diploma/certificate in Civil Engineering from a civil engineering technology program;
Foundational proficiency in design software including AutoCAD Civil 3D;
Experience working as part of a project team in a consulting environment is considered an asset;
Ability to multi-task and work on a number of projects concurrently;
Membership, in good standing, with Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT), is an asset; A valid Ontario driver's license with access to a vehicle.
