Job Summary:
Duties:
- Filing duty drawbacks and calculating commissions
- Prepare and send out customer invoices for accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Perform account analysis to identify trends or discrepancies
- Assist with monthend and yearend closing procedures
- Provide support to the accounting team as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Excel and Sage or QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Schedule:
Mon-Fri (preferably Tue-Thursday)
Job Type:
Part-time
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
