Project Coordinator - Large ICI Multi-Residential Project


Our Project Coordinators are responsible for assisting the project management team with tendering, contract administration and coordination of on-site construction work, as well as managing some smaller projects independently.

This position is full-time, permanent, and will be located on site in Cornwall for the duration of the project. Health and retirement benefits are available following a probationary period. Training and on-going education are provided and encouraged.

Duties and responsibilities of Project Coordinators include, but are not limited to, the following:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage project correspondence and other timesensitive documents;
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and owners;
  • Coordinate projectrelated technical correspondence;
  • Complete construction layouts for a variety of projects;
  • Manage, monitor and distribute project contract documents (i.e. RFIs, SIs, CCOs, COs);
  • Review and process technical product data/ shop drawing submittals;
  • Assist in reviewing and distributing change orders and pricing for same;
  • Maintain and distribute tender and project logs;
  • Assist in tendering (i.e. invitations, logs, takeoffs, questions, calls, subcontract scopes, interpret quotes);
  • Assist in the coordination and scheduling of project and construction meetings;
  • Attend project meetings, actively take notes, produce and distribute meeting minutes;
  • Update project construction/trade schedules as required;
  • Oversee project closeout (i.e. deficiencies, O&M manuals, asbuilts, warranties).

Required Qualifications and Essential Skills

  • Degree or technical diploma;
  • Ability to interpret contract documents (drawings and specifications);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite and Adobe Acrobat;
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Diligent, industrious, positive, respectful, selfmotivated & punctual;
  • Valid Ontario Class G driver's license with a clear abstract.

Beneficial Qualifications and Skills

  • Two years of project coordination/management experience in ICI construction;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project;
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit;
  • Bilingual in written/spoken English and French.
