SLR (Sales, Leasing & Rentals) Support Coordinator


Do you have an eye for detail, numbers and administrative work? Do you enjoy working with spreadsheets and data? Then this job is for you As a SLR Support Coordinator, you will track and reconcile sales, payments and commissions.

You will act as primary administration contact for the lease & rental fleet, and complete various accounting tasks.


Responsibilities:


  • Generates and maintains accounting software reports and creates inventory balancing queries to develop itemized lists of inventory balances and GL schedules. Creates monthly reports on sales deposits, and outstanding receivables. Reconciles accrual differences from closed sales files and posts related aftersales entries.
  • Reviews closed sales files, adding records to database.
  • Work with Sales Support Coordinator to submit biweekly commission amounts to payroll department.
  • Maintains record of large USD supplier/vendor invoices, tracking receipt of customers' payment and ensure release of vendor invoices.
  • Responsible for administration of Lease & Rental fleet division transfer of units in/out of sales inventory, rent to own (RTO) and Finance Lease sales, tracking and setting up deals, file closing and monthly commission recurring journal entries.
  • Responsible for US exchange related to Trailer and Truck inventory costs, sales prices, AP invoices. Account for all US values in balance sheet GL's at month end.
  • Process annual renewal of Sales rep permits dealer license renewals.
  • Provides sick day and vacation coverage for SLR Support Team and Manager daily as required.

Ideal qualifications:

Education & Experience:_

years office administration

  • Postsecondary education in financial accounting an asset
  • Exposure to working with a sales force preferred
  • Experience in a heavyduty truck or trailer dealership preferred

  • Ability to think beyond the obvious and problem solve efficiently
  • Organized, sets priorities, and meets deadlines
  • Numbersorientation, attention to detail, accuracy

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and database knowledge and experience required

  • Fusion/Karmak knowledge an asset
