Greenland Equipment is hiring a Service Manager for our Carman location

The Service Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the Service Department.

This includes a strong focus on customer satisfaction, optimizing service department processes and attracting, retaining, and assisting with the development of department personnel.

Job Duties:


  • Communicates, enforces, and monitors service department processes to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Implement the overall corporate vision and strategy for the Service Department
  • Monitor departmental performance against established goals
  • Schedules and assigns jobs and work areas to employees in the service department according to their skills and knowledge
  • Ensures that all service warranty and Product Improvement Program claims within the required timeframe to receive maximum credit
  • Coordinates customer clinics, field days, and related promotional events
  • Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
  • Analyzes and reports on the department's key performance indicators and industry trends
  • Maintains an orderly and clean work environment
  • Follows safety rules and regulations
  • Assist the HR department in recruiting, staffing, and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma
  • Post Secondary diploma or degree in a technical field preferred
  • 3 or more years previous management experience in a technical environment with proven leadership abilities in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience with basic computer office programs (MS Work, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Service ADVISORTM or other computer based diagnostic repair tools is preferred

Salary:
$85,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
