JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties:

In collaboration with other Conservation and Energy management functions, develop and

maintain industrial programs, including scope, budget, project management, schedule and other
responsibilities in order to accomplish business case objectives and implementation plans

Develop and maintain support for departmental business practices, e.g. monthly program

reviews, KPIs, variance analysis, forecasting, target setting

Annual Business Plan development, including program reporting and analytics
Perform ongoing strategic reviews of current programs
Troubleshoot and respond to process issues and program development needs
Perform continual evaluation of Demand Side Management (DSM) and Low Carbon

Electrification (LCE) best practices for industrial customers and incorporation of findings into the
existing programs

Manage contracts and projects with external service providers and customers
Provide support and knowledge transfer to other team members to help strengthen the team
Participate on special projects, as needed, to support the overall Industrial Marketing strategy

Qualifications:

***- Bachelor degree or equivalent

Five (5) years experience in marketing, program management or other relevant area (within an

- industrial setting is desirable)

A clear grasp of DSM,LCE and Strategic Energy Management initiatives and practices
Demonstrated ability to seek information from people (internal and external) with diverse

opinions, filter and synthesize the information and produce a cohesive, supported plan that will
- support the business requirements

Leadership ability aligning with BC Hydro's core values.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in budgeting, variance analysis and risk assessments
Experience in developing and implementing significant program, process and/or system changes
Resultsdriven, while respecting the importance of collaboration and teamwork
Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to build influential relationships internally and externally, at every level of

the organization

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The incumbent will work with other Program Managers in Industrial Marketing and Low Carbon

Electrification to design, execute and deliver conservation and energy management programs to
BC Hydro's largest customers.

Internal and external collaboration is an integral part of the job requirements in order to design

initiatives that meet our customers' expectations and BC Hydro's needs.

Incumbent is required to visit customer sites to both work with customers and provide feedback

on 3rd party service providers during those visits.

A condition of employment for this job is that you maintain the following requirements in good

standing:
Driver's License Type = Class 5
