Specialized Compensation


What is the opportunity?


This position is responsible for the service and administration of specialized compensation programs to support the calculation and payment of Variable compensation to internal Sales Advisors.


What will you do?

  • Research, Investigate and resolve inquiries related to specialized compensation programs as detailed in the Sales Variable Compensation Plans
  • Support training and assist with escalations and complex inquires related to 3rd party advisor Incentive qualifications
  • Manually calculate & process compensation adjustments required to support correction of payments, escalations, nonstandard agreements and approved exceptions
  • Create, manage and/or update spreadsheets utilized to support payments or tracking of manual processes required to support management of business operation
  • Collaborate with business partners and other members of LCCS team to effectively manage and resolve cross functional issues
  • Escalate any contracting or compensation issues of concern as it affects client experience, Privacy, Operational and reputational risk or financial outcomes to LCCS Management

What will you need to succeed?
Must have

  • Minimum 2 years business experience ideally within Insurance Operations
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience
  • Post-Secondary education or equivalent or business experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize within a changing environment
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and fluctuating workloads
  • Knowledge and understanding of Insurance business operations specific to Contracting, Licensing and Compensation

Job Summary


Contracting, Licensing and Compensation (LCCS) is a team of professionals with pooled experience and cross functional capabilities who offer enterprise-wide support services related to the set-up, maintenance and payment of compensation to advisors for all lines of business.

The Specialized Compensation Role within the Proprietary Compensation Team is responsible for the accurate execution and payment of variable compensation to internal Sales Representatives and advisors.
