    Road construction, asphalt paving, aggregate production, hot mix asphalt and ready-mix concrete supply are the core activities.

    In addition, the Company acts as general contractor on civil construction projects, including excavation, utilities, concrete placement, sidewalks, and curbs, and in all kind of road construction related activities.

    Over 800 jobs every year are performed through more than 20 decentralized business centers, such as highway rehabilitation, airport construction, industrial, municipal and commercial work, subdivisions.

    Terus Construction, a Division of Colas Western Canada Inc is looking to hire a Quality Control CO-OP Student for it's BC South Operations.

    Terus Construction is an integrated road construction and materials company, with operations throughout British Columbia and the Yukon.

    Assist in quality control testing during aggregate production, concrete production and asphalt concrete pavement production and laydown.
    Display good communication with supervisor, crushing sub-contractors and plant personnel.
    Assist in promoting accuracy and confidence in testing with the highest ethical standards.
    Understand and abide by all OH&S Regulations, Safety Policy, other internal policies and safety directives that may be implemented on specific sites from those that the Company is contracted with to perform the work (ie. owners, general contractors).
    Ability to work in both the outdoors and a laboratory setting.
    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
    Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required.
