Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
- Assist with meal preparation during peak hours
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
