Encore Metals Calgary is looking for a career minded and safety conscious individual for its operation in the position of General Warehouseperson.

General Function
Operates handling equipment to load and unload tubing, bar and other metal shapes from trucks. Under supervision of Warehouse Supervisor, or Manager of Plant Operations, operates various handling equipment. Loads and unloads vehicles or racking systems. Places material in storage areas or removes from storage to complete customers order. May operate saws and other equipment as necessary as long as proper training has been completed.

Position Requirements
Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent) or related training and
experience.

Job Description and Productivity Requirements:

Serves the interests of the branch by providing reliable effort and ability in the safe operation of material handling, processing, and packaging equipment under the supervision of the WF.

Places material in storage areas, holding areas, or quarantine areas as designated by order requirements.
Is responsible for completion of accurate data input and entry for company inventory, production and processing systems and requirements as needed.
The WH is responsible to ensure that all Health and Safety Policies and Procedures are being followed by coworkers and visitors at all times.
Follows policies and procedures as designated by the WF or SM regarding, but not limited to, workplace, health & safety, quality, compliance, conduct, employment and legislative requirements.
Works effectively with a variety of internal corporate customers that are necessary to provide excellent service for our clients.
