Position Overview:

We are searching for a resourceful and highly motivated Technical Recruiter to join our team as we continue to grow If you have a passion for building teams, have exceptional networking skills, and have experience managing multiple roles across various technical departments, this role may be right for you


ShyftLabs is a growing data product company that was founded in early 2020, and works primarily with Fortune 500 companies.

We deliver digital solutions built to help accelerate the growth of businesses in various industries, by focusing on creating value through innovation.


Responsibilities:

Own the full recruitment cycle from end-to-end, while managing several varying roles at once.

Quickly and successfully fill roles in our high-growth environment.

Help lead and develop the full hiring process.

Increase our direct sourcing efforts.

Promote ShyftLabs in a strong manner and continue to develop our positive reputation in the tech industry.

Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified tech team to support the organization.

Coordinate with the executive team to forecast department goals and hiring needs.


Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in all areas of talent acquisition, including direct sourcing, networking, and interviewing.

Direct experience interviewing and filling both technical and non-technical roles.

Strong experience screening Data, Software, and IT resumes.

Technical proficiency with Lever as an ATS.

An understanding of the importance of good hiring practices and finding the right fit for a rapidly growing company.

Strong time management and organization skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Solid understanding of HR practices and labour legislation.

Experience working with and recruiting a diverse team.

You are driven and highly motivated to successfully fill roles in our fast-paced environment.

You enjoy hiring for a variety of different roles, both technical and non-technical.

You are able to answer technical questions about various roles.

You are familiar with the talent market in the Greater Toronto Area, and have a strong professional network.

The role is preferably hybrid, with 1-2 days per week spent in our Toronto office, collaborating with the HR team and various hiring managers.
