Junior Project Manager - Coquitlam, Canada - Total Energy Systems Ltd.

Description

We work on a variety of new construction, and specialized retrofit projects in the Commercial, Institutional, and Light Industrial industries across the Lower Mainland.

• Assist with Project Startup including preliminary scheduling, handover meetings, and safety documentation requirements
• Review and analyzing of project documents including project drawings, specifications, and scope to ensure requirements are met.
• Assist with Purchase Orders and Subcontractor Contract Negotiations
• Assist with Shop Drawings through the duration of the project
• Assist with the Request for Information process including preparation, tracking, and logging of all requests
• Create, develop, and maintain relationship with trade contractors, and suppliers
• Assist with Change Order Management including, quantity takeoffs, requesting pricing from subtrades, assessing cost and schedule impacts, and tracking approvals
• Assist with cost reporting and review of project financials
• Assist with monthly project billing
• Work alongside both site and office staff to ensure project deliverables are met
• Assist with Project Closeout and O&M Manuals
• Field Inspections as required to ensure the project requirements are being met
• Assist with tendering of projects including sending out tender documents, takeoffs, and confirming pricing from subtrades and suppliers.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, project management or related field experience
• 35 years of mechanical or construction experience
• Microsoft Office Experience
• Trimble Experience is an asset
• Effective Communication skills
