Clean Utility Validation Technician


Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Validation Technician works as part of the engineering and commissioning team to calibrate instruments and execute validation protocols on water treatment systems.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execution of factory acceptance test documentation (FAT).
  • Perform calibration on critical instruments.
  • Communicate with clients directly during the execution of protocols.
  • Communicate with engineers and commissioning personnel.
  • Troubleshoot validation problems and abnormal results.
  • Create documentation, reviews and analysis pertaining to ISO, QSR, GMP, cGMP and GAMP
  • Read and understand process and instrumentation drawings.
  • Read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Read and understand a functional requirement specification.
  • Follow good documentation practices.
  • Work with all colleagues and departments in a professional manner.
  • Work effectively in a fastpaced multitasking environment.
  • Travel 75% of the time to customer's sites both in the United States and Canada as required to perform instrument calibration and documentation execution (SAT, IQ, OQ)
  • Deliver process improvement projects.
  • Continually provide innovative ideas to improve efficiency.
  • Other duties as specified by the Engineering Manager or designate.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION

  • Minimum 2 year in a validation environment.
  • Comfortable in working within an electrical control panel.
  • Knowledge of process instrumentation and control systems.
  • Instrument calibration experience.
  • Good mechanical knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Full knowledge in using Microsoft Office programs including, Word, Excel, MS project.
  • Ability to travel to the United States and be eligible for a L1-B visa.

Salary:
$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
