Under the supervision of the Automation Engineer, the R&D Operator is responsible for manufacturing Questat test cartridges using the print and cartridge R&D stations.
Duties and Responsibilitie
- Efficient and diligent assembly of sensor cartridges and/or sensor tapes according to written instructions
- Performance of basic machine setup and/or maintenance according to written instructions
- Identifies process or product nonconformance and promptly alert engineering and technical support for remediation
- Become familiar with the requirements and limitations of various workflows to efficiently allocate time and resources to keep adequate stock and meet output requirements
- Attends training sessions for specific processes and procedures, and faithfully implement the training in subsequent work
- Through training sessions become familiar with corporate Standard Operating Procedures and faithfully implement the training in subsequent work
- Participates in Continuous Improvement activities by suggesting improvements to products, processes, or procedures.

Skills & Qualifications (Education and Experience)
- High school or College diploma and/or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience acceptable to Questat.
- Some electronic or mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
