What are the details?

Day Shift 7:00AM to 3:00PM
Monday to Friday
Pay rate of $22.50/hr

What does the job entail?
Set-up of all Required Machines/Packaging

Set up pots on presses for packaging department
Set up automatic packaging machinery in both sealants and coatings
Keep all follower plates and related packaging equipment clean
Maintain pumps, take apart, clean and replace packing and seals when needed
Replace and rebuild pneumatic cylinders
Set up and clean all packaging equipment
Parts cleaning
Requisition required materials when necessary, prior to running out
Liaise with Maintenance for assistance with difficult repairs
Follow schedule as set out by the supervisor
Take out all production area garbage to bin including recycling

Packaging of Sealants and Coatings

Labelling of all materials as required by SOP and/or customer requirement
Filling pails both manually and automatically
Total awareness of all packaging specific requirements from labelling to boxes and all other requirements
Perform all required quality checks
Monitor packaging inventory and supplies and inform Supervisor of shortages
Clean and operate all packaging printers
Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure good work flow of product and to resolve quality issues that arise
Completion of all required paperwork in a timely manner
Follow schedule as set out by the supervisor
