THE OPPORTUNITY
Triton Environmental Consultants Ltd.

("Triton") is seeking a highly-motivated and enthusiastic
Project Manager to join a well-established team of environmental professionals in our Guelph office.

Planning, organizing, and managing a diverse array of projects, people, and tasks
Liaising and negotiating with other partners, clients, regulators, contractors, and subcontractors
Establishing and developing client relationships that facilitate successful delivery of projects and the maintenance of future and ongoing opportunities
Liaise with public and private sector clients, government review and approval agencies, subconsultants and community representatives
Supporting corporate business development initiatives
Prepare and support the preparation of project proposals and contribute to client relationships and business development activities
Writing highquality reports, cost estimates, and proposals
Creating project status reports and maintaining project documentation
Leading technical teams to ensure the quality, cost, and timeliness of deliverables
Contributing specialist expertise to multidisciplinary projects
Input to the career development of junior staff, including technical direction, training recommendations, coaching and mentoring Providing excellent service to existing clients and maintaining those relationships
Ensuring client's and Triton's safety standards are maintained or exceeded
Promote and maintain a positive work environment through a culture of teamwork and cooperation within the office, region, and between other areas of the organization

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Degree or diploma in a related field (environmental science, biology, agrology, ecology)
Knowledge of and experience with environmental standards, and regulations or guidelines and federal and provincial regulations
Demonstrated increasing experience in project management (i.e., budgeting, project tracking, costaccounting and scope control) and with the leadership and supervision of project teams
Understanding of the regional market and business development opportunities
Effective writing skills, and ability to produce meaningful reports and proposals
Superbly organized and selfmanaged, with a collaborative working style
Strong problem solver able to address challenges with effective solutions that improve systems and/or relationships, and with the ability to think outside the box
Previous experience in the environmental consulting industry is an asset
Accreditation or eligibility for accreditation with professional governing body recognized in ON is an asset
