Job summary
Lions Housing Centres Inc. is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Casual Tenant Companion positions within our Supportive Housing department.
Responsibilities
- Promotes independence, self-confidence, and protection of dignity by encouraging tenants to perform their own activities of daily living.
- Assist the tenant with ambulation ensuring ambulatory equipment is used correctly and is in safe operational condition.
- Reminds tenant only when necessary to take their medications keep appointments attend chosen leisure activities using methods that encourage independence self-esteem protects personal dignity.
- Provides general supervision guidance direction observing documenting reporting any changes in cognitive functioning health status to the Supportive Housing Manager.
