DESCRIPTION

The Logistics Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the contracts and agreements related to shipping of product within Alero's network.

Coordinate day to day activities for on time achievement by maximizing our carrier partner capacity, while balancing our distribution centre capacities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and Project Delivery Timelines and ensure ontime delivery against shipping matrix
Update and maintain shipping matrix and timelines to keep up with seasonal demands
Identify process gaps and escalate to management to determine solutions
Maintain a clear and open line of communication with all key stakeholders within Alero's network
Generation of shipping manifests related to load shipment from DCs and vendor partners
Updating and generating various internal reports for on time metrics and escalations
Participate in internal reviews related to Vendor and Agent performance
Maintain a high level of communication with Vendors and Agents
Management of assigned

Distribution Centre:
coordinating vendor pick-ups, day-to-day communications related to order fullfilment and outbound capacity from carriers

Specialized coordination of returns from Final Mile Agents to Alero's Distribution Centres
Understand and maintain work priorities
Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE at all times
Other duties as assigned

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated knowledge of Distribution, Warehousing & Supply Chain principals
Ability to work in fast Paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to Speak, Read and Write French is an asset
Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel & Microsoft Office with a proficiency in spreadsheet software
Strong Ability to Compile, Analyze and Action Data
Exceptional Communication, Leadership, Written and Motivational Skills
