Gruppo Terroni is seeking a part time Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to join our diverse and dyanamic team of Industry leaders.

Our family run business has now grown over the years into a multi-faceted operation encompassing restaurants, bakeries, commissaries and retail in Toronto and Los Angeles, operating under the brands Terroni, Sud Forno, Spaccio, Cavinona Wine Agency and La Bottega di Terroni online shop.


Description of Role:


Reporting to the Purchasing Manager & Business Analyst, you will assist in the daily, weekly and monthly purchasing and inventory activities that support our operations across multiple outlets.

This is a day time position that requires approximately 24 hours of work per week (no weekends).


Duties:


  • Coordinate monthly purchases across our organization and ensure accuracy and adherence to preferred suppliers
  • Support the Purchasing Manager & Business Analyst in ensuring accurate retail pricing across all outlets and conducting monthly audits
  • Assist in preparing month end reports
  • Maintain and evolve our business relationship with preferred suppliers and source new ones
  • Measure and report the performance of current products and retail pricing to ensure ongoing accuracy of pricing to maximize profitability and reduce waste

Skills and Qualifications:


  • 12 years experience working in Purchasing / Inventory Management related field or College Diploma / University Degree in Finance or similar field
  • Strong organizational, tactical and project management skills
  • Great attention to detail and ability to analyze and organize complex data
  • Exceptional oral, written communication and presentation skills
  • Technical knowhow with Purchasing & Inventory software such as Optimum Control and POS software Silverware
  • Experience in F&B an asset
