- Provide itinerant speech & language services to multiple public schools
- Offer consultation, direct services, and home programs for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12, with emphasis on primary grades
- Conduct speech & language screenings and assessments using standardized and informal measures
- Design and implement intervention strategies for students with communication disorders, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and other developmental disabilities
- Participate in school-based team meetings
- Provide guidance to EAs working in the speech and language program
- Share information about communication development and disorders with teachers, parents, and community members
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution
- Eligible for certification with Speech and Audiology Canada (SAC) and membership with Hearing BC
- Valid BC Driver's License and own vehicle; access to a district vehicle for longer distances
- Experience in a school setting and with First Nations students is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Criminal Record Check required
- Active registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHBC)
