Fitness Facilitator for Seniors (Mobile Fitness Facilitator)
TNO - The Neighbourhood Organization (TNO) is a well-established community-based social and health service agency providing a wide range of programs and services supporting low-income and newcomer communities across Ontario and sometimes across different provinces through online services and referrals.
We are seeking a
Mobile Fitness Facilitator to join our team in a
full-time contract role until March 31, 2024.
In this role you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading fitness activities tailored specifically for senior participants.
You will have the opportunity to create and implement exercise programs that promote physical fitness, mobility, strength, and overall well-being for older adults.
While conducting group and 1 on 1 fitness classes, you will need to provide clear instructions and demonstrations while ensuring the safety and proper form of participants during exercises.
You will be expected to adapt exercises to meet individual needs and limitations. Fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, as well as social interaction and motivation among senior participants will be necessary.Additionally, you will maintain equipment, ensuring a clean and organized exercise space, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices for senior fitness.
Please Note:
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required to perform the duties of this role.
Screening - As a condition of employment, the successful applicant must complete a Vulnerable Sector Screening.

Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Some evenings and weekends may be required
