    Summary

    The logistic coordinator is responsible for planning and scheduling driver routes as well as providing customer service support to drivers and client representatives. This individual keeps records, monitors daily logs for discrepancies, performs investigative functions and emergency planning and solves daily delivery, inventory, equipment, employee and customer issues.

    This is position is a 12 month contract.

    Rate of Pay: $22.00/hr

    Essential Functions

  • Enter hours from the Daily Activity logs
  • Verify hourly employee hours in timekeeping system
  • Process vendor invoices in Workday
  • Track invoice status in Accounts Payable tracker file
  • Schedule customer appointments
  • Update various spreadsheets for customer deliveries
  • Assist in Customs clearance for Xerox
  • Prepare, scan and complete paperwork pick-ups for Xerox
  • Process and Submit weekly payroll
  • Complete and forward reports to Accounts Payable
  • Track and order warehouse/office supplies
  • Set up new hire employees in time keeping, security and Material
  • Handling systems
  • Monitor and report CHEP pallet usage
  • Track and report total fuel costs and usage
  • Wave orders for shipping
  • Assemble Vendor statements
  • Additional Responsibilities

  • College degree/Technical Certification required in logistics, supply chain or transportation or equivalent experience
  • One (1) year or more in a similar position required
