Auxly Leamington is a Leamington, Ontario company, focused on cultivating organic cannabis in a high-tech greenhouse facility.

Job Responsibilities

Operate and maintain natural gas boilers ,chillers, cooling towers, compressors, and auxiliary pumps in accordance with greenhouse requirements.

Performs daily inspection of boiler/chiller plant systems and effectively documents all discrepancies.

Communicate with supervisors in case of a major breakdown, Emergency tasks, abnormal readings, or issues with chiller plant or boilers

Monitor the GH process several times over the weekend and be available on-call to address any issues that arise

Experience in repairing and maintaining various HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation units

Ensuring proper function and operation of HVAC equipment by conducting regular inspections.

Performing preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning fan coils, changing filters of dehumidifiers to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

Monitoring PRIVA for Greenhouse temps, adjust if temp, is offset from set points/take corrective action

Closely monitors and directs the work being performed by contractors and updates management on status of job and any discrepancies or problems, which may affect operations

Create and enter properly documented records of inspections, maintenance routines and repairs.

General repairs and maintenance on related pumps, valves ect.

Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Job Skills & Qualifications


Required:
Previous experience with complex systems and/or the Greenhouse sector

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Detail-oriented and highly safety-conscious

Safety boots required

Previous scissor lift/at heights experience an asset

Previous foklift experience an asset

Successful candidates will be asked to provide a general police clearance

Reliable transportation is required. There is no public transit available.


Preferred:
4th Class Engineer

Proficiency in computerized maintenance management system

Experience with Priva system

Greenhouse knowledge
