About Us:

Overview:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Preparation of surfaces for painting as per specification
Painting surfaces using a variety of methods such as hand painting, spray guns, airbrushing, and stencil masking
Painting and coating of surfaces with urethanes, water based acrylics, sparkles/glitter/pearlescent, fades, epoxy primer, gloss and matte urethane clear coats
Clean and Maintain department equipment
Coordination with sculpting and shipping department to ensure proper completion of SYC/IDS prop(s) and theming
Management of timelines within budgeted hour allotments
Continuous learning of new products and techniques

Requirements:

3 years or more of Artistic Paint Application ideally to objects and surfaces
Exact colour matching and mixing (colour theory)
Manual dexterity, a steady hand and good handeye coordination
Ability to distinguish between colours
Motivated, hardworking and able to work in a fast pace environment
Good organizational and time management skills
A positive attitude to work

Assets for this position:

Construction experience
Experience in welding, wood working or sculpting
Creative or interest in working in a creative environment

Salary:
$22.00-$30.00 per hour depending on years of experience and training
