    A dynamic role for a skilled analyst with excellent research and communication skills


The Public Guardian and Trustee (PGT) is a corporation sole, created under the Public Guardian and Trustee Act, which operates independently under provincial legislation.


The PGT has the mandate to:

  • Protect the legal and financial interests of children under the age of 19 years
  • Protect the legal, financial, personal and health care interests of adults who need help with decisionmaking
  • Administer estates of deceased persons and missing persons

The Policy Analyst independently manages assigned policy development projects focused on the review and revision of existing PGT programs, policies and procedures.

As a Policy Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on a team devoted to providing clients and staff with tools that support a foundation of service that is rooted in respect and trust while recognizing the unique needs of a diverse set of people.


Job Requirements:

Education

  • Degree in business administration, public administration, or related field.
Experience

  • Experience researching policy issues and conducting policy analysis.
  • Experience managing projects and/or project components.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • 2 or more years of experience researching policy issues, conducting policy analysis and managing projects.
