Job Description:

Assistant Food & Beverage Outlets Manager

Are you a passionate foodie who is not afraid of thinking outside the box? Then, we have the job for you As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will strategically lead the team to take guest satisfaction to the next level.

The Assistant Food and Beverage Outlets Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the VG restaurant Lounge at The Fairmont, In Room Dining and Refreshment Center and is responsible for the overall success of all areas including the performance of all colleagues.

What you will be doing:

Lead, mentor and train the Food & Beverage Outlet team
Create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Ensure the implementation and compliance of minimum standards as outlined in the Fairmont Food and Beverage Core Standards
Promotes and ensures a clean and SAFE working environment, with continual emphasis on promoting employee health and safety, with active participation in the Health & Safety committee
Oversees the training and development of colleagues ensuring that they are informed regarding responsible service of alcohol and adherence to hotel and Company policies
Maintains a floor presence during a shift, greeting and interacting with guests.
Works to increase knowledge of the industry trends.
Strategize on new service and product offerings

Qualifications:

Your experience and skills includes:

Manitoba Smart Choices Responsible Service Certification is a condition of employment
Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
