Kernaghan Adjusters Ltd. is a well established professional independent insurance adjusting firm with branch offices across Canada.

Our Surrey Office is seeking a permanent full-time Administrative Assistant with a strong team focus, keen sense of urgency, and the ability to excel under pressure.


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Answering phones in a professional manner
  • Preparing insurance documents
  • Assisting adjusters with daily tasks
  • Transcribing dictations
  • Proofreading and formatting insurance reports and documents
  • Collecting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, arranging couriers

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point
  • Typing speed of 60 wpm
  • Record management & document handling experience
  • Strong organizational skill and time management skills
  • Proactive, with a strong problemsolving approach
  • Ability to manage confidential information
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and proficiency in English
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced office environment.

Start Date:
As soon as possible


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour
