Kernaghan Adjusters Ltd. is a well established professional independent insurance adjusting firm with branch offices across Canada.Our Surrey Office is seeking a permanent full-time Administrative Assistant with a strong team focus, keen sense of urgency, and the ability to excel under pressure.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Answering phones in a professional manner
- Preparing insurance documents
- Assisting adjusters with daily tasks
- Transcribing dictations
- Proofreading and formatting insurance reports and documents
- Collecting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail, arranging couriers
Qualifications:
- Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point
- Typing speed of 60 wpm
- Record management & document handling experience
- Strong organizational skill and time management skills
- Proactive, with a strong problemsolving approach
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and proficiency in English
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced office environment.

As soon as possible
Job Types:

Salary:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour
