_We are looking for a part-time Brunch & Prep Cook to join our team. Saturday and Sunday availability is required._

Qualifications:

Exceptional time management skills
Experience in working a breakfast service with high expectations of quality
Experience with prep of fresh pasta and bread, some experience with pastry is also beneficial
Knowledgeable and experience prep workload management (prep, opening day setup, kitchen organization and service execution)
High quality of standard for every aspect of work from product quality to cleanliness
Highly organized and detail focused
Personable and comfortable with staff and customer relations
Good wholehearted individual who truly cares about the customer and staff experience

Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing and executing prep requirements
Responsible for execution of a busy brunch service and managing opening and closing of brunch service
Gain knowledge and information through our work about our concept, ingredients, suppliers and everything that we stand for.
Be responsible for your stations cleanliness, prep and service
Work efficiently consistently in a high pace environment
Contribute to the growth of the restaurant and our team

Information:

The Butternut Tree is a 62 seat Canadian restaurant overlooking the river valley and Alberta Legislature. The wall-to-wall picture windows offer an incredible view for connecting the customer to the natural landscape of Canada.

We are focusing on offering genuine hospitality while offering the customer a journey to explore the high-quality and incredible diversity of products from our native landscape.

All staff members will have their own personal locker. Employees are provided with uniform.

Compensation will be based on experience and a percentage of server tip out.

Approximately hours a week.
