The opportunity


As part of the North American sales team, you will ensure that all processes as they relate to planning and forecasting, including new product launches, are managed for the sales team.

You will work closely with the Key Account Managers to ensure all necessary deliverables are executed accordingly and help to measure the team's performance using raw data and optimizing where efficiencies are found.

You will be the link between the sales team and other internal teams in order to ensure client management is optimized to its fullest.

This position is offered on a contractual basis for a minimum of 12 months.


The responsibilities

  • Lead several projects simultaneously, ensuring projects stay on schedule and on budget
  • Lead crossfunctional teams in completing current and new customer RFI/RFP's, packaging transitions, discontinuation processes as well as a special assignment.
  • Support the sales team with the new product launches, sample requests, costing, customer portals, and other ad hoc on a need basis
  • Conduct monthly reporting on the 4 P's (new product on shelf, promotions, pricing, placement) on fresh and frozen.
  • Lead Product Portfolio optimization: product, size, and formats.
  • Support VPs with various initiatives as required, such as annual sales meetings, customer business planning process, and expense tracking.
  • Initiate and monitor the Product Life Cycle Master Data setup and delist and communicate with all stakeholders

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an acceptable combination of relevant education, training, and experience;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of analytical experience in consumerpackaged goods (category management experience considered an asset);
  • Previous project management experience required, preferably in private label in either consumer packaged goods or food and beverage;
  • Knowledge of S&OP processes;
  • Proficiency in Excel, highly skilled in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and customer service skills;
  • Strong analytical mind with an innate attention to detail;
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, superior oral and written communication skills, in both English and French, with the ability to influence and impact others at various levels within the organization to achieve results;
  • Ability to work independently and function as both a strong team player and project leader.

Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Saint-Laurent, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Project management: 4 years (preferred)
  • CPG or Retail: 2 years (preferred)
