    Job Description

    We are looking for a technician to join our team in our Sherbrooke office. As a technician, your main responsibilities will be to support the development of 3D CAD, 3D Civil, create models and carry out infrastructure projects for various customers, participating in the design and delivering plans that meet CIMA+'s high standards.You will work in close collaboration with the project managers and participate in the realization of various infrastructure plans within the framework of multidisciplinary projects.

    Our flexible hybrid work policy will allow you to alternate between our Sherbrooke office and your home.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • In the context of civil infrastructure projects for a variety of customers (public, private, industrial), design and produce infrastructure plans: earthworks and drainage, drinking water, sanitary and storm sewer systems, urban roads, development of public sites and spaces, parking lots, process mechanics, etc.
    • Support engineers and technicians in technical design and the preparation of complex drawings
    • Actively participate in process development for infrastructure construction and rehabilitation projects, working with a team of technicians/drawers and engineers.
    • Create complete project models by modeling project elements using Autodesk 3D modelers
    • Develop and prepare infrastructure models and plans using Civil 3D or Infraworks software.
    • Interdepartmental CAD coordination, quality assurance and other related tasks
    Qualifications
    • College diploma (DEC) in civil engineering or equivalent
    • Minimum of (3) three years' experience in computer-aided design
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software required
    • Fluency in spoken and written French
