Applications are invited for the position of Enrolment Services Associate in the Enrolment and Registration Services Department, located at the Daniel J.

Patterson Campus.

The starting hourly rate is $26.47/hr (Payband E - $26.47 to $30.69/hr) for a 35-hour work week although additional hours may be required during peak periods.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists students and general public with inquiries regarding OSAP, financial aid, admissions, accounts, registration, schedules, progression, graduation, programs and courses, and other Enrolment Services procedures
  • Trains students to navigate online selfservice tools (MyNC, NICOLE, OCAS, OSAP, bursaries/scholarships, CE Shopping Cart, etc)
  • Monitors and updates Queuing system with customer service info, manages tickets
  • Assists with events such as convocation preparation and ceremonies, orientation activities, student service fairs
  • Gauges level of support and detail required by student or applicant, and determines the appropriate course of action including provision of options and possible action, or referral to other support services either within Enrolment Services or other departments in the college
  • Manages student complaints and resolves unsatisfactory student experiences by providing possible solutions or appropriate referrals to advisors or management
  • Receives and processes documentation pertaining to registration, course and program changes, withdrawals, refunds and loan distribution
  • Verifies and updates student records
  • Creates student/applicant files
  • Facilitates requests for Confirmations of Enrolment, Transcript Requests, CPP Forms, etc.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of a two (2) year diploma in Office Administration, Business or a similar field of study
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a highvolume customer service environment using a pointofsale system, an information system, preferably within an educational environment
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience with computerized systems such as PeopleSoft are definite assets
