Who we are
Greenland Garden Centre is a year-round destination for plants, home decor, ladies clothing and accessories and more. Our award-winning business prides itself on unique product selections, customer service, enticing displays and attention to detail.

This position is fast paced and entails extensive physical activity.

It will involve working with our head merchandiser to create and maintain enticing displays throughout the store to create a unique and memorable shopping experience for our customers.

The position is full-time and extremely busy in the Spring, then once again for Christmas set up and sales in Oct-Dec.

We are one of western Canada's largest Christmas stores, and this position will involve set up and merchandising of all Christmas related products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- a strong eye for detail is required to help set up and maintain merchandise displays throughout the store.
- our diverse product selection and unique environment allows for plenty of creativity, but also entails constant cleaning and remerchandising. This position includes the maintenance of displays in many areas of the indoor garden center and greenhouse.

Qualifications:

- you must have a passion for customer service, continually striving to exceed customer expectations.
- working positively with a team and willingness to learn company culture and values is essential.
- ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs.
- self-motivated with an upbeat attitude.

Physical Requirements:

A moderate degree of physical fitness for manual shifting of fixtures and products is required. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Reasonable lifting is necessary.
