Full time, Permanent
Starting Wage:
$15.00/hour
Must be available for all 3 shifts:6:30am - 3:00pm Monday to Friday
9:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday
7:00am - 3:30 pm Weekends
2 days off per week (may be split)

Focus
This is a full time position for grading, packaging and sorting various fruits and vegetables on a production line.
Key Accountabilities
- Examine fruit by hand and/or with machines, according to size, color, and grade, to ensure quality specifications are met
- Remove defective fruit, report quality and/or maintenance issues to Production Lead or Production Supervisor, and place it in specified area(s)
- Examine containers to ensure packaging specifications are met
- Measure, weigh, and/or count fruit and place it into packaging container, by hand and/or using machines such as Giro, Marco and compact
- Assemble packaging containers by hand
- Report quality, maintenance, and safety issues to Manager or Supervisor
- Completion of other responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Previous experience packaging, sorting and grading in produce industry would be considered an asset
Working Conditions
- Hours may be irregular and in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week
- Work outside ordinary office hours may be required with occasional overtime
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 40lbs
- Work in cooler environment
- Prolonged periods of standing
