Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Toronto site is looking for a new Information Systems Project Manager to join our Contract Logistics team on a six month contract.

Your Role :
As the Information Systems Project Specialist, you will report to the Contract Logistics Information Systems Manager.

You will play a key part in providing structure and support for operations to effectively implement our systems to service our customers.

You will be responsible for project support, documentation and communications with both internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the delivery of system testing and documentation for both validated and non-validated Warehouse Management Systems environments.

Your Responsibilities:

Responsible for the effective project delivery for new systems implementations in Contract Logistics, following standards and processes set by local, regional and global teams.
Represent the Canadian IS teams in all dealings with the global IS project management community and local Customer Onboarding team.
Actively participate in new customer implementations.
Maintaining documentation and communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives with our operations teams.
System validation ensure that processes are aligned with customer requirements. Participate in quality and compliance audits.
Release management manage testing for routine installation of updates to the WMS.
Developing and documenting test plans
Projects lead with clients (internal/external)

Your Skills and Experiences:

Post secondary education required.
Formal project management training/certification is an advantage.
3+ years work experience in a Contract Logistics environment is necessary.
Good understanding of Logistics processes/operations, ideally with pharmaceutical operations knowledge.
Knowledge in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Mapping and general systems administration.
MS office suite proficiency, including MS project.
Proficiency in automated warehouse environments an advantage
