Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop a good depth of knowledge of solar photovoltaic energy generation and electrical energy storage systems, as well as how these technologies integrate into homes and businesses. Training will be provided.
- Track and manage leads for residential renewable energy clients.
- Follow up on new business leads in a timely manner and ensure accurate tracking of each contact in the sales process
- Perform analysis of generation forecasts based on project designs, as well as financial and environmental benefits of each renewable energy system for clients.
- Collect and maintain sales records using CRM software which is required to track, review, and assess client leads and potential opportunities.
- Provide clients with initial pricing tailored to their project needs, including but not limited to energy storage equipment, solar PV systems, energy monitoring, generators, EV charger installations and system maintenance services.
- Maintain potential customer files, including up to date contact information, quotations, pricing, and communications etc.
- Design and modify solar PV system solutions for potential clients, providing exhaustive options for clients based on their needs
- Assist sales lead where appropriate and book time slots for customers to further discuss project details
- Stay in contact with existing and previous customers, following up on potential projects, alerting them on new products and available Government grants
- Prepare and maintain the necessary marketing materials for promotional infield events and marketing campaigns
- Communicate detailed information about products and services offered through all marketing platforms, and maintain brand image that is consistent with services offered
- Create a unique customer experience through marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and build customer loyalty
- Establish and maintain social media platforms with information that is current and relevant to services offered by Bluewater Energy Inc.
- Complete tasks as required by the owner/operator of the company.
Maintain and Continuously Improve the Following Skills
- A high standard of written and verbal communication.
- A high level of professional deportment.
- Highly organized.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Experience with marketing and design programs (Mailchimp, Canva, Adobe, InDesign etc.)
- Experience with Google analytics and website content management systems.
- Experience using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and knowledge of content tools.
- Ability to make sound and timely decisions.
- Able to work independently.
- High degree of personal initiative.
- Honest in everything you do.
- Perform well as part of the team
