Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll/A/P Coordinator to join our team.

As a Payroll/A/P Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees, as well as invoice processing and payments for vendors.

This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in:

- maintaining employee satisfaction and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.
- maintaining vendor satisfaction and ensuring compliance with accounting requirements


Duties:


  • Process payroll for employees using Ceridian
  • Collect and review timesheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Calculate and process employee wages, deductions, and adjustments
  • Prepare and distribute direct deposits to employees
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
  • Reconcile payroll with job costing system in Procontractor
  • Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave balances, and other relevant information
  • Enroll employees in company pension and benefit programs
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data i
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll reports for management or regulatory purposes
  • Stay uptodate with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance
  • Process vendor invoices and payments into Procontractor
  • Maintain vendor master data

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in Payroll and A/P
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and A/P processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in using payroll software/systems such as Ceridian
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze payroll data and identify discrepancies or errors
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes is a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees regarding payroll inquiries
