Cabinet Assembler - Oakville, Canada - ETET OAKVILLE
Description
As a Kitchen Cabinet Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling kitchen cabinets in accordance with design plans and quality standards.
Your role involves working with a variety of materials, tools, and machinery to ensure the efficient and accurate production of cabinets.
Key Responsibilities:

Read and Interpret Design Plans: Study and interpret design plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand the assembly requirements for each kitchen cabinet.

Material Preparation: Gather and prepare all necessary materials, including cabinet components, hardware, and fasteners, for the assembly process.

Assembly: Assemble kitchen cabinets using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment. Ensure accuracy and precision in aligning components according to design specifications.

Quality Control: Conduct quality checks during and after the assembly process to ensure that cabinets meet the established standards for durability, appearance, and functionality.

Machine Operation: Operate woodworking machinery and equipment, such as saws, drills, and sanders, to cut and shape materials as needed. HOMEG EDGEBANDER

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in the assembly process. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address any challenges.

Adherence to Safety Standards: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment as required.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including designers, carpenters, and quality control personnel, to achieve production goals and maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in cabinet assembly or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with woodworking tools and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret design plans and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move materials.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them.
