About the role:


Our day and afternoon shifts are expanding at our Mississauga location, and we are seeking to hire experienced Commercial Truck Parts Specialists.


Day Shift:
Monday to Friday; 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


Afternoon Shift:
Monday to Thursday; 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. (Includes Paid Lunches)

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure coverage and prompt response for orders in a professional and timely manner, working to maintain and improve GoRight's customer service levels
  • Process orders and transfers to internal branches
  • Provide quotes and pricing to customers
  • Process parts orders and sales in the system
  • Source parts from vendors for nonstock and out of stock, to fill orders
  • Provide updates and lead times on parts that need to be sourced
  • Process and follow up on purchase orders to maintain billing and aging targets
  • Escalate any customer, inventory, delivery issues to direct report to expedite resolution
  • Contribute to warehouse organization, monitoring and maintaining locations in system
  • Work with team to manage and maintain inventory ordering controls for all branches
  • Set parts up in system and maintain obsolete part numbers
  • Contribute to replenishment of other branches
  • Identify parts for vendor returns and execute returns with vendors
  • Monitor for inventory exceptions and investigate root cause (i.e., negative inventory)
  • Perform cycle counts and review required adjustments with team
  • Ensure data and paperwork is detailed, accurate and timely
  • Support for shop work orders adding parts to correct tasks, resolving inventory issues, etc.
  • Sourcing parts and pricing for quotes
  • Picking parts from inventory to fill orders for customers and branch replenishment
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of commercial truck parts experience
  • Transportation maintenance/truck and trailer parts knowledge
  • Customer service experience
  • Health & Safety knowledge and experience
  • Highlevel written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work under pressure and sometimes within tight deadlines
  • Excellent organization, planning, and prioritizing skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues
  • Team player with strong professional interpersonal skills for effective communication with vendors, clients, and related departmental personnel
  • Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, able to multitask
  • Excellent timemanagement skills
  • Able to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 pounds
  • Forklift experience would be considered an asset
