    Precision Record Pressing is a leading vinyl record pressing company with multiple locations in the Greater Toronto Area.     We are currently looking for a Graphics Coordinator to join our Toronto team. This is a full-time, contract opportunity that will be responsible for assisting in coordinating the design and production of all artwork materials involved in the vinyl process. We are looking for a positive, energetic person who is highly motivated and wants to work in a team environment

    This is a 12-month contract position with possibility for extension. This position works from the Toronto office with occasional opportunity to work from home.

    Candidates must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship now or in the future.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage daily flow of artwork checks: reviewing client supplied art files for printability issues such as resolution, bleed, sizing, etc. and resupplying print-ready files against professional standards
    • Daily flow of artwork checks: reviewing client supplied digital artwork for printability issues such as resolution, bleed, sizing, etc.
    • Communicating with sales account reps to resolve artwork issues
    • Occasional communication with a client's designer to resolve issues
    • Embarking on projects to develop and innovate department
    • Internal projects such as template layout and maintenance, design and layout of materials in collaboration with the Marketing department, etc.

    Physical Demands

    • Sedentary, office-based role that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment.
    • Position requires sitting at desk 3⁄4 or more of day, walking short distances for less than 1⁄4 of day.
    • Substantially repetitive movements of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers.
    • Required to have visual acuity to perform activities including but not limited to analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer screen, extensive reading.

    Requirements/Qualifications

    • Minimum 1 year of offset litho print experience required (preparing, designing, lay out, reviewing graphics files)
      • Experience with large format printing or pre-press for web applications does not meet the criteria
    • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) required
    • Proficiency in Mac OS operating systems
    • Strong self-initiative and work ethic with a drive to achieve sustainable results
    • Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Highly analytical thinker with very strong problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, efficiency, organization, and managing multiple projects while meeting departmental goals and deadlines
