Dynamic Earth Solutions (DES) specializes in site planning, spatial information and digital terrain modeling, surface and subsurface investigations, rock mechanics, underground structures, geotechnical laboratory services, flood forecasting and water resource management through our geotechnical, hydrotechnical, and civil site development expertise.

Hatch is currently looking for a
Civil Engineering Technology to join our our Dynamic Earth Solutions (DES) Group. If you have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and understand innovation, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Perform assignments related to civils, drainage and utilities;
Assist with preparation of detailed design for civil engineering infrastructure/utilities projects;
Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications;
Coordination with other technicians in designing drainage and utilities provision for development, urban regeneration and transportation projects;
Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering coop program from an accredited university/college;
In good academic standing;
Extracurricular involvement; enthusiastic and ambitious;
Experience with CADD (MicroStation and/orOpenRoadsand AutoCAD Civil 3D), AutoTURN (would be an asset), Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook);
Selfmotivated with good organizational capability;
Excellent verbal and written communication.
