What to expect in this role on a given day:

This isn't your typical finance role In this fast-paced environment, you will have a strong understanding of the Canadian economy and the macro and micro economic issues that affect our customers.

Your ability to multi-task and project manage while having keen attention to detail will be critical to the success of your work.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Assist in credit reviews of potential and existing customers
Engage with funding sources on pricing of transactions and assess the credit appetite of the funders
Assist in treasury work (cash management)
Complete any postclosing items when transactions are financed

You will be a good fit for this position if you:

Understand lease contracts
Have 3+ years of work experience in corporate accounting
A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; related work experience will be considered
MS Excel proficiency is a must have
Have experience analyzing financial statements
Understand the mechanics and process of cash flow management
Have advanced Microsoft Office skills
Are able to prioritize work, meet deadlines & handle multiple assignments
